Skin cancer prevention through visual inspection

Examinations for the early detection of skin cancer are regularly financed by statutory health insurances every two years from the age of 35. An inspection of the entire skin surface with the incident light microscope is planned.

Interval skin cancer screening

Elderly patients and people who e.g. B. have a lot of moles (more than 40) should have their skin checked by a dermatologist once a year. We offer you this examination as an optional service in the year in which the statutory examination does not take place.

Greater diagnostic confidence: video dermatoscopy

With the help of the special camera, the photo finder, conspicuous skin changes can be assessed in much more detail at a magnification of up to 70x. By storing the recordings, skin changes can be compared and assessed in subsequent examinations. The smallest changes can be recognized early and removed if necessary. We recommend these optional services in particular to people who have an increased risk of skin cancer.
